Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon
Another absolute banger, FromSoft never misses. A very different kind of game than I'm used to but one that I found really easy to sink my teeth into and start experimenting with different mech combinations. Super fun, I want more.

Phenomenal game, incredibly tight and fluid combat system. I've seen some people say it doesn't live up to Sekiro's combat but I think it adds a layer of additional skill expression through the fighting game commands and greater variety of moves.

I spent a little over a month making a small VR puzzle game for school involving time travel and portals. If you've ever played Portal Reloaded, it's like that, but in VR. The game has 5 levels, and it was a lot of fun to work on. kwiper01.itch.io/paradox-rift

What a show
Barbie is a very funny and surprisingly emotional romp, what Greta Gerwig manages to do with it is so bold and yet works so well. Oppenheimer might be Nolan's best, everyone in it is bringing their A-game and I was fully immersed throughout.
I watched Barbie and Oppenheimer back to back. I'm thrilled that the two movies that became a meme were actually two of the best films to come out of the year, and that the meme got people excited to go to the movies again. I saw so many people wearing pink to the Barbie screening, it was wonderful.
