Max chandler Mather needs to grow up he’s spent his entire political career blocking labour policy then whining about nothing being done. The greens are just there to accommodate there sponsors and greenwash it through climate200

So big fan of the greens despite their opposition to labours reforms on negative gearing wanting a slower change. Greens block legislation so they can claim nothing is being done max chandler Mather is the living proof

They didn’t refuse they pushed for the repeal of negative gearing other parties including the greens blocked it because they preferred a gradual phasing

Why when all that minor parties have done is block legislation when it goes against there billionaire funders who use climate 200 to greenwash policies or block it because ‘it doesn’t do enough’. Teals and greens have consistently opposed labor’s useful reforms on housing and taxing big business

In the next few days Australians will decide whether we have a Labor government cutting student debt, or a Liberal government with higher student debt.

Education secretary suggests end of free school meals for some infants.

Children cannot learn on empty stomachs. If the government cuts free school meals while giving tax cuts to Musk and tech billionaires, they should be ashamed.

The Australian economy has turned a corner but we know people are still doing it tough, which is why there’ll be more cost of living help in our responsible Budget next week. #auspol #ausecon #730

Do people not remember that Nigel has been Russian state media RT’s go to uk spokesperson for ages. He co chaired his European political group with speroni who said Anders Breivik was ‘in defence of western civilisation’ when he murdered 77 people in Norway. It’s insane people like this guy

The labour shortage would of been filled by eu workers prior to Brexit. We saw HGV driver shortage and now labour has pushed for people to get into work. Stop immigration you lose more workers, deport people and that gets even worse as
you spend money to send them back

Personally I’d see more value in granting asylum. As then they start to pay tax, work and add to the economy. Since brexit non eu immigration has skyrocketed. This ironically was capitalised on by reform despite being a driving force for brexit in the first place. Plus uk is in labour shortage.

They could of done better but since they have addressed immigration at a much cheaper cost. Haven’t sent of contracts to their mates for shit equipment. Attempted to close tax avoidance loopholes with the farmers. Actually invest in reducing energy prices with renewables/Nuclear. They’ve done better

11.02.2025 15:13 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

Much of the uk is concerned over immigration it’s why reform has been so successful whether it’s misleading or not. labour will have to essentially show to the public that they are addressing immigration. If they deny its an issue it gives farage reason to kick off.

No even if we disagree with someone we can’t lock them up regardless it gives people a reason to go after you and it becomes a suela bravaman strategy. We can’t let freedom of protest be one rule for me another for thee

At a time when we need a fragile truce in Gaza to hold, Trump’s dangerous ramblings about displacing 1.8 million people only make things worse.

At PMQs, @eddavey.libdems.org.uk told the Prime Minister he must be clear: these proposals must be rejected, and we must support a two-state solution.

Working across all levels of government to deliver for our local community. Took time today to catch up and compare notes with Councillor Emily Kim, and to support a fantastic local small business in our area. Thanks Milli and Mol's Cafe in Algester for having us. #auspol

Plus it’s a sky news article which definitely doesn’t have anything to gain by bringing Tories or reform in

03.02.2025 15:27 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

That means supporting labour. The only chance to avoid reform to to keep labour in and push for them to change. We vote first past the post so if labour falls the Tories come back and reform gets closer to power.

Bluer than the Tories? When you have a gun to your head that could collapse your economy why would you poke the bear. Tories were the ones that built our reliance on the US through brexit thatcher and ruining our relations with our only defence against US economic colonisation.
