Public pillar tie as the community tent was tearing down. Finally had a chance to show off the UV rope with the flashlight I packed. @yellowlatexpuppy.bsky.social was a pleasure to tie and I'm happy I could give them a positive first experience with shibari.
Just arrived home from Darklands. I had a wonderful time this year, saw old friends and met new ones, and did a lot of tying. It was incredibly rewarding to challenge my rigging skills with people I could trust, and I'm excited to share the results of that soon. 💚

My friend @vali.pet visited last weekend, and together we did the first full suspension my frame has seen. We also tried out some new UV reactive rope (flourescent yellow POSH) with a UV flashlight. It was a joy to tie them, and I'm feeling more confident and having more fun with each suspension.
I posted my transition timeline on Reddit — it was removed. Because other trans people flagged it as “fake.” The reason? I have facial hair.
I reflected on what happened afterwards — and what it has to do with respectability politics, ableism, and who gets to decide what trans looks like.
I think I make for a pretty cute pup, no?

I know a couple riggers using Langman POSH ropes in UV colors, I think it's suitable for fur in a thick enough diameter.
I went to Kor (www.korberlin.com, another shibari space in Berlin) to try some self tying with new rope tonight. I had a nice chat with one of the space organizers after. They said I was the first furry they'd seen there and they'd love to see more~
