I'm excited to be part of an upcoming anthology published by @micromancemagazine.bsky.social called Love At First Write. Here is a look at the cover. I can't wait till it's released and I can share it with all of you.
I just found out my short story Rearranging the Stars finished in the sweet 16! So happy that out of 234 stories in my genre that mine finished in the top 16!
I learned my story, Rearranging the Stars made it to the final showdown in a writing contest over at Writing Battle. This means I'm in the top 64 stories for my genre. On Sunday I find out if my story will advance any further. Out of 234 stories in this genre I am proud to be in the top 64. Yay!
I'm excited for the release of KissMet's next anthology! The Spring Issue 2026: Tiptoe Through The Tulips, featuring 26 meet cute experts, is due out April 1... π·ππ·
It made me chuckle. Definitely helps lessen the sting. Lol
A friend of mine @moirariom.bsky.social taught me a great lesson. As writers we will receive rejections. We may as well have a little laugh over some of our responses. π€£ A recent rejection letter of mine.
I'm pleased to announce that my romantic meet-cute short story Beneath the Lilacs was accepted and will be included in the spring KissMet Quarterly. It's one of my favorites, about a couple who meets at a dog park and learn they have more in common than they realized.
I just received a copy of the KissMet Quarterly anthology I've Got My Love To Keep Me Warm in the mail today. It's a collection of sweet, romantic stories set in winter. My story Kickoff to Something Sweet is a meet cute set at a Super Bowl party. Perfect to read this weekend!
I'm so excited to see my story Spark in the Dark received a Cupid's Choice from Micromance Magazine. I am so grateful to be part of an amazing group of writers who contribute to KissMet Quarterly and Micromance.
So proud of my friend, Exeter for winning this contest! Congrats to all the winners!

Oh, this is so sweet and sad all at once. The way you show everything through the little sister's eyes is fantastic! Very relatable.
Those are awesome stats! This is the first year I have started submitting stories (in June) for publication, so will do a better job tracking the number of submissions next year, but I'm excited that I had 9 stories accepted for publication this year. Wishing you even better stats in the year ahead!
So true. Thanks for inspiring me to submit more stories. Looking forward to a great 2026 for both of us!
Please check out this cool new flash fiction writing contest and consider joining in the fun! Prompts will drop on Jan 30th.

In June I started submitting my stories for publication. (Thanks to my amazing group of writing friends!) I have received lots of rejections since, but I'm proud to say I've had 9 stories accepted for publication and have 4 stories being published in January. The cover for one anthology is below.
Thank you so much and congrats to you for scoring 9 with your amazing story. Will be cheering you on tomorrow!
I ended up with an Honorable Mention for my Vampire Romance story The Taste of Thyme. Had hoped to make it to the Final Showdown but guess an HM is better than nothing!
Great job! So proud of you and all our goblin friends that made the FS! π
Iβm happy to announce that my comedy Dancing the Night Away in Toytown was published today by @Written Tales. Itβs a comedy about Raggedy Ann and Andy going out to a dance club and the silliness that ensues there. I hope you enjoy it! Bet it will make you smile. π
