I’ve come up with an idea on how to make SSU Venom and MCU Spider-Man adversaries without making them straight up enemies, or overly-course-correct this version of Eddie Brock into a villain. At least, temporarily.
You flip the roles around using the addiction metaphor.
- Marvel Studios is currently working on a deal for Spider-Man to cameo in Daredevil Born Again
- Spider-Man is still a lead character for Secret Wars
- Spider-Man (Miles Morales) will likely get a trilogy in the MCU
- Majority of SSU plans won't see the light of day
