'Coerced' abortions are all the anti-abortion movmt is talking abt lately, claiming the only way to prevent this is to ban telemedicine abortion. I unpacked this strategyβall too often accepted in good-faithβand abortion bans as gender-based violence with @nbedera.bsky.social @ifwhenhow.bsky.social:

New in Abortion, Every Day: Why are pregnancy remains being investigated by South Carolina law enforcement at all? How can 14-week fetal remains be ruled a βstillborn deathβ? And why are state authorities trying to determine the race of the pregnancy remains?

What Israel does so often w/ the organs of Palestinians is so unbelievably crazy that you sound insane just repeating it. Itβs actually quite the cover for bad acts, make them so horrific nobody can believe theyβre even possible. This teacher got fired for repeating what Palestinian doctors say...
"Flint Development is involved in another property deal with ICE, in El Paso... Flint Development recently stripped information about its executive team from its website; those details were available as recently as December, before its dealings with DHS became public..."

john fetterman wants you to believe the 'sexism' problem is calling Kristie Noem a (very tame) name instead of how pregnant immigrant women in minneapolis cant go to the hospital or get prenatal care bc they're too afraid of being kidnapped & brutalized by ICE
if you live in nyc you should come to this next week!!!

whatever there is to say about whatβs getting thrown in the bucket called AI, I canβt get past how it has been forced on us, breaking things that work. And given the state of things, I need tools that work. Thereβs no time to waste on something that maybe might work (enrich someone else, poison us).
These cases continue to arise, reminding thereβs seemingly no βcorrectβ way to dispose of pregnancy remains that will protect us from criminal investigationβnot while abortion bans and fetal personhood laws exist:
After a week of deep introspection and with the persuasion of this article, I am fully a Harden convert. I am ready to preach the gospel

Hot take: People should closely read Trump admin complaints rather than reciting whatever it is DHS writes in a tweet.
If they did, they might have found a very interesting story here. Thanks to @jsweetli.bsky.social for digging in here for @zeteo.com
