Downloaded Cursor to try it out. Used to do something I loathe; writing tests. I was impressed. However the code it created was a starting point, most of it I rewrote. Cursor is like a reverse rubber duck - "you want to test this" and then I'd think "well not exactly" and write something better.

I just downloaded Cursor and I'm using it to write tests for launchpointzero.com that I should have written months ago. So far I'm impressed. It doesn't do all the work but it's a solid start. It's almost like a rubber duck that talks back and says the obvious stuff, it helps prompt my own mind.

I can't tell if you are a real person or a bot. Is Bluesky already overrun with bots posting comments and responses?

Whenever I hear the kids talking about vibe coding it sounds like twidling bytes without clear intention to build out a feature, i.e. "Hey maybe today I'll add dark mode to my Astro site" and then either it works & it fails and I move on. That's how most features on launchpointzero.com is done
