secretly followed a very expensive lecture class around the museum and heard about how after the roman's left britain the carved acanthus leaves in corinthian collumns slowly dissolved into looking like cabbage leaves. As I got more bored you can see that happen in my art too.

Thats so understandable, it is a bit of a hassle at times to sort out and figure out tags and writing a bit at the end etc etc haha. I think though as long as you're writing for fun and for you and your friends, theres a lot of comfort in that too.

I LOVE longer comments, people who write long live reactions to my fics make my entire WEEK. Theres so much joy in getting to bounce around with someone all hyped about something you've made!
But yeah its :( It's such a shame. The world needs more positive interaction in it, its so important.

Let your favourite fic writers know you care about them <3 And artists too! I've noticed this trend extend to art as well! The internet is a better, happier place when we all hype each other up.

- many comments telling me how much my posts meant to them, and I just had no idea. You have to let us know, because when it feels like we're posting in a void, it can feel a lot like rejection, like we're not worth the time, not good enough to share with others. And that can really sting.

I almost stopped posting WIPs over on tumblr because it was absolute crickets every time I did. And then when one person left kind words in the tags I made a post thanking them and offhand mentioned that I was considering not posting anymore because it felt like no one cared, and suddenly I got so-

Begging people to do this, I cannot overstate how much it hurts sometimes to pour so much love and effort into a work and get nothing back.
You don't have to leave an in depth review either, even just a; "I really enjoyed this!" Goes a really long way.

Trans people are at risk because the UK have banned trans youth healthcare, and adult HRT pathways are unfit for purpose. If you want to stop DIY HRT or 'black market trans hormones' then lift the fucking ban and make all types of HRT free and accessible through NHS GPs. It's not rocket science.
