Just shared a bluesky invite code with someone through a Zcash Encrypted Memo. π
(i.e. a proof that the algorithm was executed correctly, and without injecting any "fake" results)
Encrypted Memos is one of the best features of Zcash.
Here the total is 100%.
That is, 1/5 of all people who have used cryptocurrencies at all put privacy at the forefront, and then everything else.
They believe that #crypto is a confidential payment method, but they do not know that is absolutely not true!
They need Zcash!
The smarter AI gets, the more it will fight against ZKPs by promoting transparent & immutable blockchainsβ¦Drive to Survive.
Big tech is pushing encryption everywhere and many crypto people are happy broadcasting their financial transactions and make them public record for eternityβ¦π€
The Ethereum community rejoices: "ETH wallet addresses are now searchable on Google." πππ»ππ»
Everyone start googling their addresses and most people will do it from their authorized browsers.
Next move: googling assets by first and last name, and then mass adoption of Zcash.
thereβs a real divide here between political hobbyists and those who actually want to deliver a real sort of autonomy and resilience to the world
People will eventually get fed up with all that doxingβ¦π¦π¦π‘οΈ
I probably don't need to say this, but having a public transaction graph of every payment everyone has ever made to anyone is a *goldmine* for authoritarian regimes. Bitcoin blazed a great trail, but you can't run an economy on it, irrespective of proof-of-work.
Itβs not really about the size of a community, itβs about its GRIT.
Itβs not really about the product, itβs about the culture behind the product.
π£Announcing my latest @forbes.bsky.social article: "Encryption: The Necessary Tool For U.S. National Security And The Intelligence Community." It explains why national security interests are *strengthened* by end-to-end-encryption technologies.π https://tinyurl.com/3suefr7z
i feel a little weird blithely skeeting money stuff, but i guess if this is going to replace twitter then we need to use it not just for shitposting but also for standard self-promotion, so i'm gonna keep doing it until this replaces twitter or i get bored.
Did someone invite King Charles/
so are there rules here or what
They should invent mind control but for your own mind
Data privacy legislation is my top tech policy priority. Itβs popular, itβs bipartisan. If it was up to me weβd get it done tomorrow. I can't promise anything but I'm hopeful, and I wonβt stop fighting to get it done.
bottom line is nobody has the power to kick other people off the internet. but infrastructure providers can decide what is allowed on their infra and set rules there.
