Based largely on the observance of protest that occurred after George Floyd's death, I can't help but think that had Renee Good and Michael Pretti been black, there would be cities burning to ground this weekend.

Per Russ Buettner, reporter for the NY Times, the 1.4 bill that the Trump family made in the last yr, exceeds the sum total of everything he made in his whole life including, inheritance, casinos, hotels, Apprentice, beauty pageants, WWE... It must have been a great yr for the Trump bible sells.

I think it is very likely that John Kennedy would prefer his name not be hyphenated in conjunction with Trumps on anything, much less an Arts Center. If Trump is determined to have his name on the Arts Center, just take Kennedy's off for now.

Wondering how much the next president will have to spend on the White House to get it back to looking like something most Presidents would feel comfortable living in.

You know, his following overlooked him five yrs ago when he suggested disinfectants to treat Covid. Wonder what it will take for them to catch on. He just comes back the next day and walks back his comments and they overlook it.

Hershel Walker confirmed as Ambassador to the Bahamas. The first Bahama ambassador in 15 years. You couldn't make this sh*t up if you tried.

no, i don't think 1/2 is appropriate and they may have to reverse the 1/4 in six months. But probably a moot point as Fed Chairman Trump is going to take it to 2% a year from now anyway.

If their mandate was purely to fight inflation they could hold their ground but I think with the employment picture, they probably have to "cut the rate and reevaluate".

One of the attributes of most successful politicians is an understanding and appreciation of how stupid the median voter is.

So many thoughts running through my head as I watched that but almost impossible to express how I feel about it right now. Somewhat confused at the moment.

I'm a little more comfortable discussing politics on this platform that the other for obvious reasons.

Grace is a good egg, I wish Stephanie could figure out a way to get her and Wallace five mins a game.

This year's selection is loved by half and loathed by the other half.

Since we are raiding Connecticut, wondering if Alyssa Thomas might follow. I understand she is a free agent. We could use a banger on the team. I assumed there was a reason they let Temi slip through the cracks.

Their track record isn't exactly impeccable, is it?

11.12.2024 22:46 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

I think Temi was considered top six esp if you are a defensive coach like White. I think they just couldn't get a good vibe from her agent or whoever that she was committed to the league. If they pick up Sabally I'll get over this ow, it's confusing.

Wallace got a lot of mins the year before when they were terrible which hurts her resume. She did contribute some on the Australian Bronze Medal team. She is a good egg, gives a good effort is cost effective and is good enough to be in the league, just not sure she will ever start again.

I have slept on it and can't for the life of me figure out who Indiana protected in the 6th spot over Temi. I don't think any of those bottom six past Temi can start for Golden State. Berger and Wallace were probably hoping to get picked up by Golden State. They are very solid 8,9,10 type players.

07.12.2024 17:23 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Its difficult to rationalize any of the bottom six. They may have said hey, almost like a coin toss for 7 through 11.

07.12.2024 13:54 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 2 πŸ“Œ 0

ikr, but they protected one of those bottom six. it's total guess work. Erica loves Indiana. as I alluded, I think there is the possibility they got with her and said Erica we want to keep you , but we can't pay you like an Olympian, If you will take like $150,000, we will protect you.

07.12.2024 13:51 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Im thinking that Indiana management must not have been able to get a good feeling from Temi's agent that they could sign her to contract that would commit her to the fever for the next few yrs.

07.12.2024 06:35 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Erica has had three double digit ppg years in her career but I don't know what they were thinking when they signed her to that $225,000/yr contract.
