I can't argue with that!
I'm a Herzog fan. I named a beer Every Man For Himself and God Against All, and describe The Hollows as the place where the Herzogian battle between man and nature/god takes place. But this is bullshit. Buy art from the artists you love or you'll be stuck with slop.
me paying $30 in gas to buy imported things that have been hit with tariffs bc joe rogan is learning about politics at age 58
Maybe I'm dumb but I don't see a way to send a DM but I want a copy!
Train ride shift beer, a beautiful Simcoe porter from Noordt, where I'm leaving from a collab for Wildeman's 40th anny (appearing as staff, not as The Hollows). Not sure it should count as a shift beer after doing no work but I closed last night and was in bed for 5 hours before heading to Rotterdam
Bus ride shift beer with a classic I normally ignore now because it's one of the few good German beers I could get in Atlanta
We're getting it in NL this year so I'm very excited to find it
Train ride shift beer, Brujos/Human Robot Maximin. It's possible this is my first hazy IPA transit ride shift beer
I'm heading to Atlanta in 2 weeks! El Tesoro is high on our agenda
I don't post much brewery stuff despite this being the brewery account, but we had a good first year if untappd is to be believed. Not bad for only releasing 7 beers!
Literally bought these for β¬15 from a vending machine at a show tonight. They're not as good as a more expensive pair I had 20 years ago but definitely a big improvement over normal earplugs. Something to keep in mind is that they don't offer as much protection (they allow more high frequencies)
I like that kids have freedom here in NL to get around on public transit, but these middle schoolers that just got on the bus smell like wet dogs
Can't have been a very long search. You just start at In de Wildeman, and then you're basically done
other people can make inroads and find common ground with regretful trump voters, in my personal capacity as a private citizen i am committed to hating those dumb motherfuckers for the rest of my life
Time to just read it all again to prepare for what the next era of stupid will bring
I saw a Pete Holmes clip like 12 years ago that was funny (he was Batman or Batman was involved, I don't remember), and I've watched a bunch of his stuff since just assuming that he'd do something else funny, but no. It's a shame, seems like a nice guy, also that's my nightmare.
Don't try to make him sound reasonable
I have a couple fun new beers coming out tomorrow
They use less chocolate than they used to, though I guess at least they're still using chocolate

"It's not my duty as mayor to make sure you have a parking spot. It's the same as if you bought a cow, or a fridge, then asked me where you're going to put them." β Mayor Miguel Anxo FernΓ‘ndez Lores of Pontevedra, Spain
So I've heard, but still great. I'll choose a Knoblach Lagerbier Ungespudet over it any day though.
Bus ride shift beer, Mahrs Helles. It's good but come on, it's not aU
Buried in the Void I Built To Save Me - Imperial Stout with cashews, cacaonibs, and vanilla beans, 13%
We're coming back to visit next month and we had serious debate about whether that was a good idea. On the other hand, fuck these assholes, they can't keep me from my family.
Bus ride shift beer, some more Human Robot
βThe Board of Peace should be spelled B-O-R-E-Dβ
Someone from @humanrobot.bsky.social came by the bar and dropped off beer so I'm drinking a nice rice lager for tonight's bus ride shift beer
