Yeah this would be such a practical thing to have learned more about in school. Honestly even as an adult for a while I was always really intimidated by trying to figure everything out when I started tracking calories and losing weight.

Yeah that's definitely a flaw, I'm not savvy enough to even know if that's possible/feasible to do haha. Honestly in my mind I was just thinking of a once a month manual audit but that'd be time consuming.

I wonder if a possible alternative/short-term solution would be to continue with patreon/subscribestar and upload text posts or like some simple art while making a telegram channel to post the real stuff that people have to request to join and are given the link to after subscribing.

This is very true for people who upload videos as well. Like sure 100 views isn't like giant celebrity streamer territory but if you imagine 100 people all in a room cheering that's a lot of people
