this is like inventing the toaster. possibly the largest impact of a single member of an indigenous community on modern science
cool! it could be interesting to look at learning outcomes/course goals and whether there's a focus on statistical literacy. i'd also be interested in methods used, including calculation methods, whether students are collecting data, if the stats/methods courses are linked through a project
