Knit for Food Knit-a-Thon 2025 Join us on April 5th, 2025 for the 5th annual Knit for Food Knit-a-thon. This 12-hour knitting marathon raises funds and awareness to combat hunger and food insecurity!

The Knit for Food Knit-a-thon is April 5th. I'm committing to knit for 12 hours to fight hunger. $ is split equally between Feeding America, No Kid Hungry, World Central Kitchen, and Meals on Wheels.

I’m updating inventory, every now and then I go out to start the Scout(she’s being fickle and there’s 8” in the forecast), and just made three large tannin baths for some linen I’ll be dyeing. The sun is so pretty! The pups are all snoozy. The sheep are so content with their yummy hay🥰🐑

This morning Josie(the sheep) had a pedicure & soaked all 4 hooves in a foot bath, gave her a shot of antiinflammatory med. Now she’s eating hay with Gen Pop. Stalked the hens to see who’s eating eggs. Then I got the tractor stuck. Straw & feed run, then ate a tin of mussels for breakfast.

Happy place🥰

The #Shetland twists all snuggled in and ready to go with me to #fiberfestivals. This is our flock’s wool, the dyes are from Safflower petals & Cochineal(so expensive!) On a snowy day, it’s sunny inside.
