I have to tell you Ryan, the work you do is great but the Terri Mestas era has been absolutely terrible for ST employees and has forced out many crucial and knowledgeable employees and replaced them with consultants and highly paid execs. I would recommend that you talk to employees more.

Dow was also given a special all-staff internal meeting at ST to speak with employees before he was announced as a candidate for CEO and no other candidates, if they even existed, were given the same treatment. Leadership at ST have manufactured consent for Dow.

Also, the current leadership has created a hostile working environment and forced out many experienced employees with no plans for knowledge transfer. The moves they have made will inevitably affect the outcome of ST3 in a negative way.

I can tell you this, no employees at Sound Transit approve of Dow being CEO. Many employees don’t believe there were ever any other candidates as he had a hand in hiring the current leadership with the knowledge that they would approve him as CEO.
