If someone is clearly trying to provoke a reaction on camera, giving them one only strengthens their position.

Chaplinsky v New Hampshire says "Fighting words" aren't protected speech. It does not make assault legal.

Even if someone is crossing that line, responding with violence is still assault.

Family Christmas was a success! Grandma *still* thinks I'm a wolf. The kids did not remove my horns. And no one asked about "that episode"
