Because of the National driver register, since their licenses are suspended, trans folks cannot move to another state and get a new license until they remove the suspension on their existing Kansas license.
They can't even escape this by moving to another state.
There's only one party that likes to make voting harder, especially for women and minoritized voters... msmagazine.com/2026/02/23/s...
The worst figures on campus arguing that campuses had become overrun with wokeness were all best buddies with Epstein. Quelle surprise.

This is heartbreaking. As a young lesbian coming out in the 90s, lesbian bars were a safe space. An instant home. And not just NYC ones (Henri's, Wow Bar, C Club, Meow Mix). Anywhere I traveled in the U.S., I was home in that city's lesbian bar. www.them.us/story/gay-ba...
So QAnon spent years spreading conspiracy theories that the government was run by a cabal of elite pedophiles and it turns out they supported the actual cabal of elite pedophiles to get into power and destroy democracy.
Literally all of this is a lie. We are about to find out who is state media, because they will be the ones to parrot a justification for state-sanctioned murder.
REPUBLICAN 2026 PLATFORM:
- Republicans hold the unfettered right to abduct, rape, and murder any American citizen and get away with it.
2026 CENTRIST DEMOCRAT PLATFORM:
- ICE agents just need a little more training. Hugs! π€
WHAT AMERICANS WANT:
- Stop murdering us
- Abolish ICE

Alex Pretti was a colleague at the VA. We hired him to recruit for our trial. He became an ICU nurse- I lover working with him. He was a good kind person who lived to help and these fuckers executed him.
White. Hot. Rage.
in case you're curious about how angry Minnesota is about ICE, it was -20 today
"ICE Watch works because it surrounds men seeking approval with people loudly expressing their disapproval. And... bystanders can quickly outnumber the ICE agents, who then have to decide if they want to escalate a situation or perhaps abandon their activity altogether." www.ms.now/opinion/minn...
This personal essay (from 2024, pre-print version) narrates a crucial bit of my grad school research that helped me unlearn some of my racism. Thanks to the Black people I learned to listen to, wish I could replicate this for every white person.

This is so cruel and vindictive.
Trump's decision to revoke Temporary Protected Status from every Somali in the U.S. will put lives at risk, including here in Maine.
Doing this with no grace period or automatic extension means hundreds of thousands are now vulnerable to detention and removal.

This makes me sick.
In JD Vanceβs world, Jonathan Ross is both the hero and the victim. The woman he killed? Sheβs the perpetrator, solely responsible for her own death.
This is peak abuser language and a public battering of a woman killed by an abusive government agent.

He didn't shoot her in the head at point blank range because he felt like he was in danger. He shot her in the head at point blank range because he was furious that she wasn't afraid of him. He shot her in the head at point blank range because he felt emasculated.
Because 2 lesbian women in an SUV going less than the average speed in a Costco parking lot are so threatening.
To be clear: Even if she was a protester, or agitator, or immigrant, or immigrant "thug." Even if she disobeyed ICE and told them to f*ck off. Even if she broke a law-- she did NOT deserve to have some guy high on fake power shooting her in the face.
Are there no journalists left willing to say "hey, that's not what the video shows" at a press conference, FFS? www.jezebel.com/after-ice-ki...
Today is very bad and we should all be very angry but I am here to remind us that the birthday we are celebrating this year is not for the Constitution but for our rebellion against monarchy. The sincerest form of flattery is imitation.
we know regime playbooks here: smear the deceased, target the family, valorize the murderer both as supposedly innocent and with a sadistic delight in the murder itself.
One thing that shouldn't be missed is that the woman murdered was queer and was murdered right in front of her wife.

So we let more marginalized students slide through college with AI, and then they're ill-prepared for their careers. But other students in more elite schools with smaller classes get the humanized attention they need to develop beyond AI.
On top of all this, AI is incorrect much of the time!
AND this ignores the inequities in who uses AI. Students who use AI writing tend to feel unprepared and insecure about their writing. And they're busy working during college, so they're looking for shortcuts. And on top of that, they're attending schools like mine, where faculty have huge workloads.
