Not only do they move things and that's already annoying enough, a lot of places seemed to put their whatever-AI/assistant button in place of what got moved. I guess they were hoping users were so used to clicking in a location, that enough of them would "accidentally" click into that, too.

And with a lot of sites/programs using A/B testing/ rolling out random beta tests etc, sometimes you feel like you're hallucinating b/c you're the only one in your friend group whose settings/whatever has changed...
I just went on a rant about this a few days ago. I'd love a setting on things that essentially said "please dont change any settings or move anything, i'm good with how it already works, thanks"... but unfortunately that's not how things work nowadays. :(
