In a recent Facebook post by Jesper Myrfors, the original #MagicTheGathering art director, the “pen mark” on the Deckmaster logo on the back of an #mtg card is actually a swirl on the marbled paper used on that part of the card, the same paper was used on the frame for the fronts of Blue cards.

Your point about aesthetics is I think at the heart of #UniversesBeyond criticism. Bad mechanics come and go. I know little about Avatar as an IP, but if I squint hard enough I can see it fitting into the overall #magicthegathering look, which is something I can’t say about Spider-man. #mtg

I attempted to boot up #MTGArena today via #Steam only to be told I had no Internet connection. Well I knew I had one and found I could resolve the issue by opening and closing a different game (Skyrim) and reopening Arena. So if you have problems today with Arena, try that. #mtg #magicthegathering
