After 3 months of struggling through writer's block (more like a "revision block") on my 2nd picture book under contract, I have finally come upon a satisfactory solution.

Agreed 聊斋 is fantastic! It's a compendium of Chinese haunted tales compiled by 蒲松龄. It's a source of inspiration for my personal writing and translations (although no book surpasses 西游记 in my heart)
