Oh, this is quite lovely
A close up of the two highest humps of Arthurβs Seat with a small red and white helicopter floating between them, seeming quite close to the ground.
Thereβs been a helicopter hovering over and circling Arthurβs Seat for the past while, which is not a good sign

Same - I don't think everything needs to be in idiomatic English, it's bad enough that everyone is forced to write in it already
I was pleased by how much Routledge encouraged this for the book, and felt similarly about it - not that no machine could imitate me, but that it would be an imitation of something that felt relatively authentic.

It's just infuriating, I don't have time to spend an hour on the phone to them again, then follow up with all of the places they didn't pay.
I tried to make a payment a couple of nights ago - a standard one I make every month. For the second time recently, my bank decided this might be fraud, and so froze my card. And since it's the start of the month, numerous bills didn't come out, so I now have to spend the next while fixing all this.
I've remembered the part in your book
So I know exactly what is going on

A selfie of me smiling at the camera, holding up a paperback and hardback copy of the new book
The copies of new book and one of the Oxford Handbook of Social Epistemology sitting in a row on a windowsill. Out of the window, you can faintly see the Salisbury Crags and Arthurβs Seat.
Happy world book day! Here are some random books I found lying around.
BBC Verify has pieced together verified videos, satellite imagery and expert views after a deadly attack near a primary school in Minab, souther Iran, which suggest the area was hit more than once "by multiple simultaneous or near-simultaneous strikes".

A modified version of a famous scene in the Simpsons. There are four panels showing Homer talking to Bart and Lisa. In the first, Homer says 'Kids, there are three ways to do things'. In the second, he says 'The right way, the wrong way, and the A.I. way. In the third panel Bart asks, 'Isn't that the wrong way?', and finally Homer replies 'Yes, but faster'.

I remember Roy Sorensen arguing for some version of this claim, but heβs not exactly a philosophical bellwether
A different view of Arthurβs Seat and the Salisbury Crags today - this is from the south. My office looks on from the west, so that the Crags are in front of Arthurβs Seat - here theyβre to the left (west).

One of the greatest pieces of music ever made. I also like to play a game where I count how many of Crockett's outfits in this video I could pull off. My answer so far is...all of them. All of them.
*Video has something of a strobe effect at times due to truly terrible editing choices

This was me when this release appeared in late 2024
I more or less ignored this track because this release had 'The Drums' on it, and that's one of my favourites of the past few years. But I had a difficult, depressing day at work, and this was the first track shuffle on my phone served me up, and it was perfect. So I'm sharing that good fortune.
Who wants a replay of my webinar last night on epistemic injustice, oppression and ignorance? You can still sign-up using the form here and get the link!

That would be so disappointing!
