The real red is for comparison of a sort, it’s actually a large bowl with red underglaze. The small bowls are red mason stain. In my research since I. Have found that the red mason stain needs to be a higher percentage for the true colour at cone 6
I find the red a bit iffy as to colour When I mix it and fire to cone 6 it has at times been more of a salmon colour, which is still lovely, but not a true red
Love it! I do similar but with mason stain in blues, greens and reds and mix it with white ! I hand build
