Drones used in Israel's genocide of Palestinians are now surveilling Americans. Why isn't corporate media covering it?

According to Nate Bear's Substack ¡Do Not Panic!, after October 7, US drone manufacturer Skydio supplied more than 100 Al-powered surveillance drones to the Israeli military for use in Gaza. By 2025, US police departments across major cities began deploying the same drone models to monitor protests and public spaces.

Skydio now holds contracts with more than 800 US law enforcement and security agencies, up from 320 in early 2024. Federal agencies, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP), use drones to track and pursue targets, while police departments launch them hundreds of times a day in towns and cities nationwide.

A March 2025 rule change expanded police drone use by allowing flights beyond visual line of sight and over crowded areas. The New York Police Department alone has flown drones more than 20,000 times in under a year, including at political protests.

AI drones used in Gaza are now surveilling American cities…

And corporate media isn’t covering it.

Justice for Linton Blackwell The Atlanta Alliance Against Racist & Political Repression calls for Justice for Linton Blackwell, also known by his stage name B Green. Blackwell was shot 14 times in the back by an off-duty APD officer, Gerald Walker in Buckhead on October 11th, 2025. The officer justified this murder by claiming that Blackwell had a gun tucked in the small of his back. There is no justification to this wrongful murder by APD regardless as Georgia is a “constitutional carry state”. Furthermore, Blackwell was well within his legal rights to conceal-carry a weapon. @AtlantaAlliance

Justice for Linton Blackwell This is not the first time police violence has affected Blackwell’s family. Blackwell’s cousin, Jimmy Hill, lost his own son Jimmy Atchinson to officer Sung Kim on January 22, 2019. Jimmy was not armed. Although the officer was indicted, a federal judge dismissed the case. @AtlantaAlliance

Justice for Linton Blackwell Too often police officers are able to end the lives of civilians with impunity. They use vague language like “feared for my life” and “he was armed” without evidence that any lethal actions were being taken against them in the first place. There is no evidence that Blackwell pointed a weapon at this officer, and there is no justification for this officer firing his at Blackwell. Yet officers use qualified immunity to shield themselves from justice—if indicted at all. @AtlantaAlliance
