Recently finished reading Project Hail Mary (great!) and the novel co-written by Nicholas Sparks and M. Night Shyamalan (meh…), so I figured it was time to tackle this cool looking doorstop from Joe Hill.

I get to see #ProjectHailMary on Wednesday, so I’m trying to finish the book by then. I’ve got 200 pages left - if something bad happens to Rocky, I’m gonna fight Andy Weir.

CBS, Fox, the Washington Post, and Twitter are all owned by Trump-loving billionaires and soon CNN will be too. Here's why American media has a liberal bias problem.

This is catastrophic for film and television. Remember when monopolies were a bad thing?

Yeah, this tracks. Once your legitimate career is dead, it's time to start grifting.

No press screening for Scream 7 this week (uh oh…), so I get to see #Hoppers early! Fingers crossed for a Pixar comeback.

Prior to 2015, if any candidate for elected office had begun a public statement or tweet with this sentence, he or she would have been laughed out of public life.

Now, Americans re-elect them as commander-in-chief. I will never allow myself to become numb to his insanity.

A big reason why Amazon spent $75 million on that Melania β€œdocumentary.”

Oh my lord, *that* kill in Bone Tomahawk remains one of the most traumatizing moments I’ve ever experienced in a movie.

The Hard Pass This is a website you can read, written by Mike Ryan.

I’ve been a big fan of @mikeryan.bsky.social’s writing for a long time, so signing up for The Hard Pass was a no-brainer. Worth it for the promise of more β€œMay the Bridges I Burn” content!

Such an incredible character actor. I first saw his range in Last Action Hero as a kid - he terrified me as the villain, but he also played β€œhimself” at the fake movie’s premiere as such a nice, chill guy. Also great in Manhunter, Heat, and too many others to mention. Rest in peace.
