It's done. All my videos are now private (unless I missed something and skipped over it by accident) on every channel of mine that I still remember the password to. Again, I'm very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause anyone, but I think other people have backed up all my videos elsewhere.

He is exactly the sort of person that the internet would bully mercilessly if he were alive and writing poetry today. Despite the misadventures recounted in his biography, it is surely fortunate for him that he lived then instead of now. Friends supported him financially his whole life, at least.

McGonagall's wikipage makes it abundantly clear though that the humor WAS unintentional and that he had a very high opinion of himself as a writer: "Throughout his life, McGonagall seemed oblivious to the general opinion of his poems, even when his audience was pelting him with eggs and vegetables."

I'd read the 1880 poem "The Tay Bridge Disaster" by William McGonagall before and found it one of the most unintentionally hilarious things I'd ever read. I just reread it and I'm confident in saying it's THE funniest thing I've ever read, and still would be even if the bad writing were intentional.
