My cutlery-based fess is that I just throw the knives, forks and spoons in any slot at random. It's still very easy to find a fork if I need one. I appreciate this makes me a monster.

Happy birthday to Betty Boo. Here's a reminder of the time she rapped with Public Enemy in the McDonalds at Shepherd's Bush back in 1987 (look out for the unimpressed manager!)

It was an ancient Gallifreyan tradition to hang a huge side of bacon in a corridor: the Rasher of Rassilon. #DoctorWho

We lost Kenith Trodd last weekend, a brilliant producer and forward-thinking man who believed deeply in television and the British screen. He was ahead of his time in many ways. "A film is a film is a film."
My tribute is now up on the BFI website: www.bfi.org.uk/news/kenith-...
Very sad to hear from his wife that Kenith Trodd passed away on Sunday. A brilliant, fearless maker of tv and film, including a long and lively partnership with Dennis Potter. It was an honour to know him and interview him about his illustrious career. www.screenonline.org.uk/people/id/14...
Iβm delighted to report Lower Decks has just made me laugh. Episode 9: theyβre doing a pastiche of the #StarTrek films, and as a shuttle approached the spaceship, one of the crew started crying at how beautiful it was. :)
A thread of CG re-creations of Paul Montague's sets for #RedDwarf Series 1! #CGSets 1/
Gonna stick with it for a bit to see...
Yeah, it's the constant shouting... Saying dull things really loud and fast is not funny. 'OHMYGODIT'STHENEW'ZX84'TRICORDERWOW' isn't a joke. I've heard it gets better so I'll stick with it a bit.
(On the other hand, I'm four episodes into Lower Decks, and it's... erm... not good. Hope it improves!)
I sometimes wonder why they didn't get him to play Kryten.
Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow is the film Star Trek IV should have been.
What I'm enjoying most about it is that they're giving time to each of their characters: I'm on S2 and they've just done a Una episode, a Noonien Singh episode, an Ortega episode, and it looks like this next one will be a Chapel episode. It's so lovely bouncing around doing different styles.
I don't know why they can't see that most of us aren't racists and transphobes. People are generally quite nice.
This is great. 'I'm washing me barnet!'
Iβm pretty sure Gorton Denton were the rival youth club in Byker Grove.
With the greatest of respect to a genius.

Rob Grant, in his cameo appearance in Backwards.
Just heard the news Rob Grant is dead. One of those folk I've never met who had an immeasurably huge and positive impact on my life. Oh man.
Going to have some toast then use a whole bog roll in one day in memory. Do you think Wilma's sexy? #RedDwarf
Fair enough - my fault! Apologies.
The public are finally waking up to the monstrous reality of Blackadder Season 5
Wait until you hear about Englebert Humperdinck
'The relentless demonisation of anyone who opposes The Five Doctors' cast's delivery of 'The constitution clearly states that when in emergency session, the members of the inner council are unanimous / Which indeed we are / The President of the Council may be overruled' is truly chilling'

The relentless propaganda surrounding Eric Saward is an insult to our intelligence.
