Well, I think you nailed it on the head. We are living in a Bond world - but we don’t have a Bond to take on SPECTRE. Time to step up there, Allport.
You may want to consult files of the inter services topographical department (ISTD) that did workups on various ports under Axis control. I am not sure what exists, what it covers, and bear in mind it’s from the British naval intelligence perspective, but it might be better than nothing.
