Fab symposium on JD Fergusson at Perth Art Gallery today. Perfect timing for someone working on an imminent Colourist exhibition 😬
I’m editing a lot of interpretation lately but I’ve been really enjoying witnessing the tapestry process in its first stages up close.
Today was my first day of work at Dovecot Studios as their new curator. I was extra lucky too as they cut not one but two lovely tapestries from the loom…which I’m not sure if i can fully reveal yet, but boy it was exciting.
Ooops wrong tag 😂
I was overstimulated at the antiques centre as per usual
Also devastated by the price of this grandly-framed Arnolfini dog, erm ‘cat’. If it weren’t so pricy it would be mine.
Appreciating this serendipitous arrangement of miniatures of these two real life pals at the antiques shop 🥰
Finally made it to Kimono at @vadundee.bsky.social before it closed…it did not disappoint 😍
Had a great morning bidding farewell to this year’s Empowering Women group of New Scots, mostly from Afghanistan. Got to try so many homemade Afghan dishes and now I think I have a new culinary addiction.
I recall us saying ‘that’s your own fault’ back in the day
Was delighted to finally make it to the Iroquois Museum today. Their Out of the Box exhibition closes soon and featured amazing works by Haudenosaunee artists.
Also got to meet Little Boy, Chief Feline Officer, who reminded me of The Smith’s dearly departed Oswald, museum cat.
