I love crocheting household items so for #Crochetaway this week, here's a repost of my latest completed project, a pair of rugs which were supposed to be bathmats, but the large one is far too large.

I was like 'oh I don't have anything for #showmeyourknits this week' completely forgetting I had literally posted this months ago for a different prompt.
Unfortunately it's one of the only cowls I've ever knit, so here it is again! 🧶

that's what I'm sayingggg. okay but for real, the disadvantage is I can't wash and block it like a real swatch to see how it'll turn out after the wash. It's always worked out for me though.

I gauge by starting to knit a pattern and then measuring a few rows in to see if I'm close. I also don't lifeline even when I should........
on the other hand, I frog freely. all of my absolute favorite projects have been frogged at least twice before completion.

and.... as promised on the original thread, just finished the bathmat with the baby forms of the Stardew birds. The babies take fewer pixels so this bathmat turned out much more reasonably sized. 🧶 #stardewvalley #crochet
