My guess is it had wet feet from diving/hunting and it landed on the metal rail to rest and it's poor little feet quickly froze to the rail.
I understand that. I am a daydreamer. Sure, I could get the work done, but it would take me longer. None of the jobs I ever did could have been done from home, so that was good for me. Though I sure don't miss having to be out there. I do miss a few people, though.
Aww. We had a tiny drizzle too. I guess you will feel it if it gets very cold. I have a few friends with plates in arms and wrists, and they feel it in the cold. Nice that you were able to get some work done. Yeah! Tomorrow. For me too. My cold, which was not as bad as they usually are, is over.

Oh, good grief! He did not write it, I am sure, and what a stupid thing to write for anyone, but especially children.
I was trying to imagine what you are going through. Yeah, tricky. I hope it gets easier. I know my pal who had the knee operation lives with a lot of his family, well, they live with him, he is the grandfather, so it was easier for him as he did not have to cook for himself.
I am sorry you are feeling anxious. It is understandable. You have been through a lot. Do you have a cane? That might help a wee bit. Maybe you can talk with the therapy person about it, I am sure they will have suggestions.
