Not that every other disorder that we manifested was any less painful, of course. But the story of mood disorders in my family is very sad. I count my blessings that mine, big and resistant and exhausting as it may be, isn't anywhere that sad.

I think that I'm likely "lucky" that the Hereditary Serious Mood Disorder Wheel didn't land on bipolar. Not really because there are "better" mood disorders, but because bipolar left massive trauma in my family. It'd be harder for me to accept it, from my history.

Depression is backing off, doesn't mean the episode is over yet though
