Went to see this on a Thursday in 2020. As I made my way to the movie theater I heard that all Broadway shows had closed for the day. The friend I saw it with, a teacher, had school close early that day. The next day I went to a birthday party. After that I barely left the house for a WHILE.
the "perfect solution" meanwhile would've been the show not dropping Din being told he was raised in a terrorist cult with incredibly weird orthodoxies around the growing love he felt for this child he was raising, for a season about him self-flagellating to re-ingratiate himself with said cult

My hot take is that Final Fantasy II is good, actually. The story is lightyears ahead of the first game's, and if you're not actively trying to break the battle system it works well. You don't "have to hit yourself to gain HP," you can just gain it during normal battles how they meant you to

I've tried to play Suikoden II a couple times and always bounced off it at some point. Maybe because I was trying to get all 108 stars. IDK. I know people love it, and I adore the first game, but for some reason I haven't clicked with the 2nd. Maybe the anime will work for me.

Apparently a lot of minor characters in The Honeymooners are named after people Gleason grew up with in New York.
My great grandmother lived on the same street as Jackie Gleason when he was a kid and baby sat him on a couple occasions. There's an episode of The Honeymooners with a shout out to her (he leans out the window and yells at an annoying neighbor named "Mrs. Gallagher").
There are tons of very talented actors who would've been just as good or much better than Kevin O'Leary in Marty Supreme who are not gonna make enough money to qualify for the SAG health insurance, meanwhile this guy stumps for Trump & wears $20 million around his neck to go to an awards ceremony.
