Trump is launching an authoritarian takeover of Portland hoping to provoke conflict in my hometown. I urge Oregonians to reject Trump’s attempt to incite violence in what we know is a vibrant and peaceful city. I will do everything in my power to protect the people in our state.

On the first day in office, this President pardoned actual violent insurrectionists who stormed our Capitol.

Now he’s making up shit in Portland to justify using the military AGAINST the American people.

Much like Mr Wilson, I would love to see people building long term housing for the homeless with counselors to help them transition to permanency and get the services they need. Where are the things we really need, Mr President?

When you know that he makes his policies based on things he sees in the idiot box, this becomes a direct line to right wing media. They bear the responsibility of the destruction about to happen in my state. God help us all!

We’re struggling with this in our family. Lots of people with a multitude of conditions, but we have to go to the doc for a prescription to get the shot. On top of that, they don’t even have the new shot at most places in the area.

T-Mobile refused to accept the petition. Contract security told us a company representative would come and speak to us. Instead, they called the police. ICE is using so much “less lethal” ammo against the protesters that this school had to move locations. The chemical munitions were affecting the school’s edible garden & the school faced constant testing and remediation.

My family knows many guardsmen and this is so disruptive to their lives right now. On top of that, many do not believe they are deployed lawfully. Such a tough position for them to be in.

That’s what works in our house. Mom and Dad like the edges, kids like the center. I’m glad for it, because the thought of fighting off those ravenous vultures with a butter knife is exhausting. I would totally do it, but it sounds exhausting.
