I find I feel better just being able to drive to work in the light and then home again before dark. Winter months being stuck at work for all the daylight hours is horrible.

I really don’t like the way WOB send these beautiful books out in plastic bags. The books get damaged so easily and there’s a recyclable cardboard alternative that protects them so much better.

This chain can even extend further, with some species displaying multiple, successive levels of parasitism

There is an app called Clear Outside that forecasts fog, not sure where the data comes from. However it’s suggests Peterborough at 3am tomorrow morning having a 99% chance of fog, so fill your boots !!

I always confuse him with Josef Koudelka (who is still alive- I think)

But you are 100% more worthwhile than the other authors, they are all at 99p !

Perhaps the police were so surprised they decided to give him Β£80 to keep them occupied and distracted so they didn’t need to look for their mates in 4x4’s on local farmers fields

I sometimes struggle to engage fully with the written element of these type of articles, probably tiredness and lack of concentration, however in this instance the combination of words and images pulled me as a reader right into your experiences, as much as I can hope to understand. Transformative.

Already received my subscription copy a few days ago. Excellent images and well written commentary

Artists often find the role of communicators / evangelists and collaborators a difficult compromise. One is fundamentally outwards looking, the second more inwards to an established and supportive environment

Understand your point entirely, anybody who voted conservative in 1979 is now at least 64 years old, so there are quite a few people suffering who didn’t vote that way. Subsequent labour governments were not brave enough to reverse privatizations so the responsibility needs to be held more widely

Of course when you are in a hurry they will insist on cocking their leg on every blade for grass despite your attempts to drag them home after the 17th attempt despite there being no wee left !!

I was looking everywhere for Skinningrove by Chris Killip. Could only find one but it was Β£200 ! Only just out of print as well.

They are parasites on hope, having been allowed to invade the high streets of many working class towns they are now given a route into every bodies homes. Worse are the β€˜celebrities’ that take their money and help perpetuate misery for many.

Best way to make a small fortune, buy an ink jet printer, and … start with a large fortune. Even if you were still in warranty the cost of the ink doesn’t get covered, but I suppose you give up trying earlier and call them.

More like Reg Prescott ! Hope you are relying on more than a bit of band aid to stop a dead Leica bounce.

Are you left with this question because you feel content may drive interest in your book, the success of which is affirmation you deserve ? I often admire the self control of those remote amazon tribes that exclude the outside world at all costs.
