clinton's plan to beat trump was to elevate him above the rest of the republican field and then coast to an easy victory. i don't think she was right about that

That first point is well known and was basis for early Christian criticism of Islam, on the part of writers with enough knowledge of it to not think them some sort of polytheist, as a heresy itself.

Depends on if we’re talking about β€œChristian” in an theological or essentialist sense or in a historical or sociological sense. Catholics/Lutherans/Orthodox/etc don’t count JWs as Christian the way most Muslims wouldn’t count Druze as Muslim except in the loosest and most expansive sense.

Bodycam video contradicts ICE claims in fatal shooting of U.S. citizen Ruben Ray Martinez in Texas Video of last year's fatal shooting of Ruben Ray Martinez obtained by CBS News appears to contradict claims that Martinez was shot by an ICE agent because he "accelerated" and "intentionally ran over"...

DHS claimed "an ICE agent had fired 'defensive shots' into Martinez's vehicle after Martinez 'intentionally ran over' another agent."

But body cam video now "shows that Martinez's vehicle, a blue Ford Fusion, was stationary or going at a very low rate of speed when he was fatally shot."

To be fair β€œthere are greater christological schisms between actual christian denominations than between islam and like catholicism” invited that interpretation. The similarities are of course more significant if you count extinct-for-millennia-heresies.

Right, but lots of people were promoting competing versions of Christianity from the get-go, early enough that it’s recorded in Acts and St. Paul’s letters. The fact is though that such foundational documents and ongoing practice of the religion have held ecumenical councils from Jerusalem on to be-

If anything, Muhammad occupies a quasi-Christological position being the seal of the prophets, moral paragon for the faithful, and mediator between God and humanity who mentioned in the same breath as God in the profession of faith.

I think this really really oversells the similarities. The Incarnation/Trinity/Crucifixion/Resurrection are all central Christian doctrines that most Christians (barring out there denominations like Mormons/JWs) agree on that Muslims disagree with.

1. US bombs Iran
2. Oil price goes up a bit, benefitting Russia's petrostate
3. Russia gives Iran targeting info
4. Oil price shoots WAY up
5. US unsanctions Russian oil

Canada created more jobs in 2025 (! year of the economic attack!) than the U.S., tho the U.S. job market is 7.5 times bigger.

"Health" generated 41% of the new jobs. "Care" (incl educ) almost 1/2.
Demographics guarantees that this job juggernaut will continue to dominate. Demand>supply everywhere.
