I really strongly disagree with this. Why add a subjective component? That opens the door to all kinds of ref fuckery. Just leave it black or white

Wouldn’t be the end of the world
I honestly don’t think the rule is stupid. Marginal decisions are inevitable but fun when they go your way, eg Gabriel vs United
I never get people moaning about VAR for offside (other than when it’s slow.) Offside is one of the few rules of football that’s truly black and white, and enforcing it as such is the right thing to do
I trust a well read man like you has finished A Gentleman in Moscow?
the Athletic said it best
Also this local Massachusetts weekly doesn’t have direct sourcing, they’re basically guessing
From what I watched we didn’t really try to get out of third gear
Professional
I don't know about you but this is exactly how I remember most of our other lower league FA cup ties in these 20 years
Party at 11??
No fucking way I wake up at 4 for that, but also I wouldn’t admit that here lol
Please put in a rule to stop us taking throw ins so slowly, it’s for our own good!!
Seven debates Jeremy??? That’s outrageous
There’s a puncher’s chance of it at this point and that’s a pretty wild thing to be able to say
🥰🥰🥰
Don’t believe there’s any such politico article
I’ve given it 15 solid seconds of thought and decided I respect the chutzpah
Hah
Sky breaks it down very well here. In short, it’s utter nonsense www.skysports.com/football/new...
I have a present for Fabian Hurzeler
After so many years of playing well and losing, I can definitely say that playing like ass and winning is much funnier, if nothing else
Btw the solution to the “set piece problem” in PL football is to call fouls like that consistently as penalties while also nerfing the crowd-the-keeper strategy. Cause if you do the latter without doing the former you’ve shifted the balance of the league too much in favor of defending
A classic of the “foul but not a penalty” genre. Also of the “if they’d given it on the pitch the VAR isn’t overturning it”
Tbh I’d settle for scoring a goal. I suspect a boot to the throat would get us a red card
A draw there would be more than fine
Somebody is going to reply to this tut tutting about how I cannot notice the other score when Arsenal aren’t playing particularly well. Fair warning, if that person is you I may well give you a swirlie when you least expect it
Cuz he’s played so poorly this season
