We’re still trying to air out the guest room after my sister in law stayed with us a few days during the deep freeze. The perfume-y stench is overwhelming. I had a few asthma attacks while she was here. She insists that she doesn’t wear perfume.

Growing old is inevitable. Growing up is optional.

I found my first grey hair when I was 20. My Mom found her first at 16. I now proudly have a full head of naturally white hair after many years of coloring it. I’ve had every “normal” color and a lot of fun colors.

Apparently not. I’m never denied, because my sister had breast cancer. She’s not as “lucky.”

My sister was denied a follow up MRI after her breast cancer radiation treatment because she didn’t have a strong enough family history of breast cancer. 🤦🏻‍♀️
