some more kamikaze, need to color this one and probably knock the face around to get more of a likeness.
This cracked me up and made my morning. Thanks!
Right there with ya. :)
sucker for giant belts and leather pants. Capt Flint from my comic book, Battlestations. which you can read on webtoon before I finish it for print.
Not really art related, but I wanted to mark the occasion.
full of turtle meat. did this one in photoshop with a bunch of brushes I have collected over the years.
thanks! not lately, I'll post here if I start up again.
one of the few I'll watch on twitch, and her discord server can be fun.
Good catch. Yeah thatβs mika, I was surprised to see her show up in noclip. I donβt know her personally but hang around her discord server from time to time.
inked in CSP and colored in Corel Painter.
Agent gearing up. inked in CSP and colored in Corel Painter.
Really liking this new inking brush I got for csp. Fun to sketch with it in a sloppy way.
Wip color
I try to find a balance of of black white and gray. The gray is the color that will be added later. Itβs a lot of squinting at the drawing :)
traditional sketching with one of my fav mechanical pencils of a couple of goof ball friends.
Cover for my comics trade paper back. this was a high tier reward for the kickstarter as were a bunch of the interior pages. inked with multi liners and some white out.
some more traditional in real life drawing. Lead character from my comic book on 11x17 canson comic paper. this one done with my trusty Pilot drafting wood mechanical pencil and is sitting on my light table ready , acme animation plexiglass drawing board.
Thanks! I've done a few, couple for Archie, and one for IDW.
inking traditionally, speedball superblack , GPen nib in a tachikawa nib holder. I have less control over a dip pen, but get a lot more happy accidents. Kind of have to go with the flow of it. this is on 11x17 canson comic paper.
Oh I pencil first. Sometimes Iβll scan the pencils in do some correction in the computer and then print the pencils in non photo blue to Bristol paper. Other times Iβll just ink over the pencils and erase them.
A type of marker with a slightly flexible nib.
My trusty art board from art school. Acme pegs and frosted Plexiglass for light table use.
Strathmore Bristol comic paper. I think itβs a cold press because it has a little bit of tooth to it.
another traditional inked drawing, 11x17 comic bristol, inked with microns.
Going to post more of my traditional media work. Priss from bubblegum crisis. 11x17 comic board drawn with pencil on my trusty acme drawing board with animation paper pegs.
sat across from a table at a con that sold corsets and spent the weekend watching people try them on. The look of joy on each persons face as they spun around and looked in the mirror was amazing.
Oscar Mike. Drawing in csp tonight
I never even thought of that, I should put some together for sale. I'll keep ya posted.
I tend to not draw in traditional media unless I'm at a con. I do enjoy it though.
