We saw sturgeon at Damariscotta Mills!!! 4-5 of them on the fish shack side of the bridge. I'm hoping this spring I'll get a chance to see them spawning in the Cobbossee Stream in Gardiner.

Just got home from another trip to Florida. Lots of birds and other wild animals were seen. This purple gallinule is one of two I spotted along the canal at Shark Valley in Everglades National Park. Absolutely gorgeous bird, all the colors of the rainbow.
