The difference if you ask me is pretty night and day, the back of the original hair if you ask me is kind of atrocious, I HATED seeing the back of it lmao
New poly count is maybe about 1~2k more despite having notably far more detail is because this time I was smart enough to bake normal maps!

Finally revisited and remade my first project I ever did where I created something new for my avi in Blender, which was the hair! Love how it came out, it felt great to see how much I improved on my previous work.

I've seen plenty of other instances of mods/admins either taking no course of action or entirely improper course of action in other cases. I can provide examples if asked.
As cool of a concept this site is, poor implementation and lack of proper moderation makes this site unusable legitimately.
Reports of player behavior can only be reported on their subreddit under a post for reporting players. You read that right: to report a player, you have to publicly post it. I shouldn't have to explain why that is an awful system.
The log is entirely backed up with numerous reports by the minute.
A griefed pixel drawing of a character, there are self harm scars on the wrists and thighs, a set of pronouns are overwritten to misgender the creator.
As of right now I have to get friends to help me remove my piece which has been griefed to actively misgender and display both explicit and self harm imagery. Content warning for picture below as an example.
These griefers are actively rebuilding too as I write. They know no one is stopping them.
Making a write up at this point, don't know what spheres this will reach if any but at this point I have to say I cannot in good faith recommend wplace.
With mods either swamped with other issues or indifferent to some, making anything on the site opens you up to harassment with no way to curb it.
If you do have the charges to spare, assisting in removal would be appreciated! No pressure, I'll eventually get it done myself, but realistically the piece just needs to be removed from it's place.
As much as I would love to dedicate as much time to upkeep my little guy as this guy can, the sad truth is I have a life, a job and far better things to do: something this rando full of vitriol likely can't relate to. Might put my guy somewhere else later, but I'm not leaving self harm imagery up.
Well, with the introduction of this person adding self harm scars and their insistence on continuing to use my character as a medium to create hate, I'm unfortunately probably gonna have to remove it. Mods aren't acting (probably swamped), and leaving it up is a disservice.

Yeah that's fair, this person is seemingly spending inordinate amounts of time working on this which is honestly kinda sad: I kinda imagine they've got nothing better to do in their lives than be spiteful towards people they make no effort to understand
Whoever is doing it honestly seems pretty obsessed in a particularly creepy way with being transphobic about it, seems to be one person with 3 accounts. It's pretty disgusting tbh

Definitely a bit disheartening. Not much I can do about it though, honestly I think it might have just been one singular person with 3 alt accounts, one fresh made after I initially tried to undo their work. Considering the mods are probably swamped, probably not worth trying to fix it lol
