Found a worker-owned co-operative to get my agave syrup from for paint-making.

Kinda fun explaining why I need a bunch of it but am not in fact baking anything. 😁

All the ingredients and equipment I need to make watercolour binder sitting on my workbench. They are: a large empty jar, a bottle of boiled & cooled water, a big bottle of vegetable glycerine, a big tub of pale gum arabic powder, three small bottles of essential oils (clove, nerolina, & tea tree,) a jar of honey, an empty bowl for weighing powder into, a small scoop, a set of digital weighing scales, an old chopstick, and a box of nitrile gloves.

This perfectly illustrates my point that the British tabloids are aiming at a US audience. There like 5 people in the UK who think about this. But it is huge among US evangelicals.

British politicians need to ignore UK tabloids, as UK tabloids are talking to an audience in the US for clicks.

The cat has now turned to cast a critical eye over my workbench, which has a green cutting mat, papers, rulers, and a craft knife. Cats are always judging us. Which is fair enough to be honest, I mean look at the absolute state we're making of the planet.

I deleted the thread on emotional crash outs because I can say it more succinctly like this:

Check on your emotionally reserved friends. A lot of us don't express distress openly and many people mistake that for invulnerability or hypercompetence. I find that especially true among trans people.

If you are feeling helpless in the face of All Of It (and it's a lot), I am telling you: find a way to plug in locally.

Figure out who is doing something-- anything-- meaningful, and see if you can help.

The first org you find may not be the one. But you will get there.

It will help your heart.

My screen-reader just read the same thing twice on that reply? So it can't distinguish the difference between what's flowery versus boring in this specific case.

It did actually pronounce the second twat-sicle there correctly, though. I foresee more hyphenated cursing in my future, heheh.
