What if we made a GUI chat interface with GitHub Copilot SDK that was context-aware of what's on the desktop?

Just messing around a little with GitHub Copilot SDK, .NET 10, and Code.

Open source doesnβt thrive by accident, it takes real investment in the community and ecosystem.

When you lead with βa lot of people donβt like itβ when announcing a piece of software has reached 1 billion devices, youβve been captured by the terminally online echo chamber.
1.4.0 of my atproto and bluesky libraries for .net are out including support for setting live streaming statuses and cashtags.

Whoever was on here the other day that was like, 'if you like spy and geopolitics stuff and haven't seen Homeland, know if you start it, it will ruin your productivity because you won't be able to stop'.
Yeah, it's a problem. Was up until 3am last night locked in.

Love how ONNX Runtime is taking ML models cross-platform and cross-architecture. Intel NPU? Great. NVIDIA CUDA? Sure. AMD ROCm? Gotcha. Ampere Arm CPU with 192 cores? Optimized for that too.
S08E07b - Hayden Barnes and CVE-2025-33515
In this bonus episode of The Modern .NET Show, we welcomed Hayden Barnes back to the recording booth to talk about what has been called βthe worst .NET vulnerability everβ, what it is, how it affects you (because it will), and what you need to do to prot
π/π―: ποΈ The Modern .NET Show is booking guests for March 2026 onwards. If you've built something cool with .NET, maintain an open source library, or have interesting insights to share about the ecosystem, I'd love to chat with you for an episode.
Agreed. And there are different kinds of costs. An agile DevOps team might be able to plan and complete LlTS upgrades in weeks. An enterprise who contracted out an app that has βjust workedβ but now needs to secure it while planning upgrades, we provide a lifeline to get them secure and compliant.
If you learn one thing today, please let it be about CVE-2025-55315.
And if you want a place to start, you could try this conversation I had with @unixterminal.bsky.social: dotnetcore.show/season-8/hay...

Wrapped on a recording with @unixterminal.bsky.social about this very thing a few hours ago. It's with the editor, and it'll be released as soon as it's ready.
There's no public list, feedback noted. We track 1.3 million+ versions of NuGet packages and their status in our EOL dataset. If a library is not included, we have to scope, what we do in Java and JavaScript, and can vary from 'we'll add this to included' to 'this is a big lift, it will be extra'.
We include support for the most popular open source libraries. If we need to fork and patch them to keep them secure and working on NES for . NET then deliver them to you via our NuGet feed, we will. Just send us your list or use our EOL CLI scanner tool to collect the data.
