Fishing has always been an important part of Iceland's history & culture. So we celebrate fishermen on the first Sunday of June each year. In some towns you'll find boat rides on offer, free entries to museums & fishing competitions, sea swimming and concerts

The Super Swimmer Ross Edgley plans to swim 1,000 Miles in 100 Days in cooperartion with MFRI for the sake of science and in connection with the BioProtect project.
