These are called plesionyms (a near-synonym, where its substitution alters the specification but does not change the truth-value of the proposition). It’s a dysfluency structure, so it’s smart of the AI fraudsters to use it, as it makes it sound more hesitantly human.

Wahey! We have a ‘Reply All’ vortex going here at the University of Nottingham. It’s at the early Replying to All to demand being removed from the Reply All, which generates lots of Reply Alls in agreement. Off we go…
