It's essentially a trope from shonen manga, but I've been really nervous about introducing it.

I finished the first book of my litRPG webnovel a few weeks ago and just started publishing book 2 last week without a title.
I guess it never occurred to be to draft a second title, but after a few weeks of consideration (and writing ahead), here is episode 1 of "Fall of the Onion Knight"

A little sketch up I did for a character that was recently introduced in Return of the Onion Knight.
The idea was to have a stronger character come in who could take on the main characters in a fight without issue. Then, have a bigger baddie come in to show the power difference.

My 3 rules for character deaths.
1. The character has to be likeable. Not just personality, but who they are.
2. They have to have ambitions and goals. You don't just kill a person, you kill their future.
3. Someone has to love them and you have to break their heart.

Literally playing catch up with my Patreon at this point. I just finished today's update last night and I'm still working on the illustration that should've gone up with it.
On the bright side, the illustrations help me actually picture the world and story so I'm writing a bit faster.
The Korean courts have issued a warrant to detain President Yoon. Office4s are currently at hos residence to carry out the warrant while supporters attempt to blockade the streets.
Had plans to head back home with my wife and our dog for Christmas, but due to health complications, my dog won't be able to make the trip.
So we're cancelling our plans to stay home and take care of the pup.

Write what you're feeling, especially if you're blocked.
While writing a single coherent story from start to finish would be ideal, it isn't the reality.
Writing scraps out of order and putting them together is just as good as the alternative.

With 87 episodes of my webnovel under my belt, I've hit my first real roadblock.
I have characters about to decide to plunge headlong into danger, but I can't put the scenes together.
I'll get there, but it's just so many motivations and emotions that I'm having trouble keeping them all straight.
The Ubiquitous Black Knight is a character in fantasy that hides their identity and or heraldry. This leaves their origins a mystery which makes them nautrally interesting character.
I haven't figured out how I want to use this in my story, but I'm a fan of their appearances in other stories.

My current writing playlist is just classical music on repeat off of Amazon Music. It's nice to have something soothing and calming while four people fight off ice-type zombies with shields and swords.
I am holding on to Marvel SNAP like a lifeline at this point. I thought a Switch would help, but between a full-time job, writing and home life, there really is no place for video games so far in my life.
Yep... just struggling to get back on track now, but it's going to take some work to get further ahead.
I carefully planned my Q4 writing schedule so that I could have enough time to spend with my family over the holidays and also have enough time to work from home.
I am 2 weeks behind that schedule.
Dammit.
From what I can tell, there's more of a market for longform than shortform storytelling now, simply because it's more likely to build an audience.
Unfortunately, outside the realm of romance, action, and specific sub-genres of scifi, there isn't really a great place to publish online.
