Part of the problem is that they have you blaming Schumer (who has no majority) instead of Thune (who does).
Itโs underappreciated how thoroughly the Left has been propagandized.

The market for apps that are basically "This existing software, but how it was 5-8 years ago" is functionally infinite at this point. Every Office app. The entire Adobe suite. It's open season.
Hell, ATP tech babble aside, 95 % of Bluesky users are here because it's Twitter with less bullshit
I have no water in the kitchen (plumbing repairs) and I'm about eat ribs. Pray for me.
Good for you. 750K was an insult
I swear this is why I need quest markers in my games. It's been sixteen weeks, I'm not going to remember to look for a small quill in the Ogre pen.

Maybe she thinks he'll let her see her kids if she defends him here?
You'd have beaten me, but neither of us is on his level. Sorry
There are several non coders in that thread, who built apps. Really interesting.
Interesting to see actual apps people built with Cursor.

Yes mens clothing absolutely evolved. And you don't have to go particularly far back! I had a pair of shoes very close to these:
That is a good point. I'd say "Socially imposed but personally adapted" describes more than a few things. Masculinity, attractiveness, success come to mind. You can feel attractive without strictly adhering to society's definition of attractiveness. I think the same is true of masculinity.
Oh yes, absolutely Bowie! Perhaps Marilyn Mason as well.
I've been on both sides. I was a slightly built nerd (hence the boxing), then had a huge growth spurt. Please don't take me as condoning (or even judging) any part of that. I'm just trying to identify it.
"Prince could show up at your party, in frills, and steal your girlfriend. Then steal her clothes, then steal someone else's girl in your girlfriends clothes.โ ๐
That said, I realize there's going to be one "accepted" societal judgement, and I don't think long hair is at all disqualifying. A lot of metal bands had long hair. Prince was considered very masculine by many (although not all).
This stuff is so complicated. personally I make a distinction between "What IS masculinity" and "How do you define YOUR masculinity?". I'm uncomfortable with any sort of externally imposed definition. I think there could be as many definitions of masculinity as there are men.
Tell me again how Dems just need better messaging
Hi, Bluesky. Our friends from @cpsc.gov said we should join. Our memes are less unhinged but we try to be funny sometimes.
What we really want to do is make sure workers know their rights and employers understand their responsibilities โ and where they can go for help with a workplace issue.
Yikes, *twice* the average is really saying something.
I thought it was an homage to Redd Foxx
Thatโs a real OUG
So true. I briefly signed up with a โfinancial advisoryโ startup last year and the whole thing just oozed โleast effort for greatest returnโ. I actually admired the business model (from a technocratic perspective), but it wasnโt terribly useful.
No I get that 100%. I guess the question is, โwho gets to validate your definition of yourself?โ
If I say โMen define themselves as having short hairโ, is it fair to say โNo, they cannot define themselves that way.โ?
I would say itโs not fair.
In other words, is that trait now inaccessible as part of male definition?
No argument their definitions are based on social expectations. But if we agree that men (and women) define themselves, how do we get to excluding any particular trait from that definition?
If I say โMen define themselves as Xโ, and you say โX is universalโ, does that change anything?
Do you think men (or women) define themselves in any way?
Which part?
Definitely not. The proposition
โGiven that I am a man, kinetic action is important to meโ isnโt the same as โGiven that kinetic action is important to me, I am a manโ.
Mind you, even as a man my opinion on men could be wrong, I wouldnโt presume to define women.
Iโm saying that sense of being a protector *feels* manly.
Is it possible to feel masculine , or feel feminine ? Are both illusory?
