c.i.z./k.i. was born of skepticism concerning how people use the web.

As if it wouldn't shape them in many ways.
As if their data were safe, etc.

So I often feel like the spoilsport who is reminding them of things they don't want to hear about when they're ego-tripping about.

It's all strange. 😊

Is it an unwritten rule that people on social media & elsewhere always act like a public persona that's a mix of biz ego, preferencies & one's own press agency?

Even in China?

I don't know.

I'm not only bad at small talk, I'm also no "fan" of anything.
Maybe that's why I'm doing this here. 😊

Plus: What would YOU think of someone with an incognito account permanently commenting posts of a private or (semi-)biz profile? That he's a "fan"?

So: Right. I can't "win".
But to be posting personal things now & then makes the "promo work" & all the selfie & promo culture of others more bearable.

Often I don't even know who's "on the other side" myself. Accounts might not be managed by who I think, etc.

So if I write/post sth more than an emoji, I usually expect a content-related answer. If it happens, that doesn't mean a conversation follows.
Or that the other person listens to k.i. next.

What it's like to permanently release & write & not get a reaction most of the time?

Better than not being able to handle too many reactions.

I'm trying to keep things semi-personal with k.i. now. Which is strange, I know, as most don't even know my name. So I can't expect much.

We like clear structures AND easy answers. So we often believe in sth at least as long as it works (or makes us look as if).
That's ideology, not clarity.

k.i., structurally more complicated than c.i.z., is less easy to shelve.

Maybe only art & pop that's difficult to swallow can matter at all. ✌🏽

I'm coming from a place that's fearful of further automatization of human behavior via digitization & manipulation.

So I'm absolutely not 100% pro-structure. E.g. disruptions & detours can open spaces to think outside of boxes not made by ourselves.

I often feel like in a labyrinth of my own cross-references (as music & pic pieces are scattered here & there), an attempt to escape the linearity, the one-directionness of serials.

Clarity in structure serves seeing a full picture.

Many pictures here come from journeys for my day job, mostly from breaks.

That's meant to be a pic version of the k.i. videos, showing real life surroundings in an algo environment. And of course they're expression, too, very much so: "Share my view." "This is now, too."

I'm even scheduling my regular posts here btw.
There's many releases & reminders I want out of my head, so there's a proper list for this year's Mondays (or so) what to post.

That's meant to keep my mind open for other things than c.i.z./k.i. - and work, which is still much too chaotic these days.🙇🏽‍♂️

Ok, theoretically it's easy to agree on "let's have some fun", "let's do sports (watching)" or talk biz or weather.

But even talk about foreign countries & cities can't be done for long (seriously) without touching politics. People gossip? Nah.
Maybe that's why everybody likes cats & flowers here.😺

(Almost) recording nothing anymore for c.i.z./k.i. obviously evoked a need to express myself somehow else.

And just last weekend I noticed again that talks with neighbors can't replace my online rants.

As I'm always too disappointed how streamlined people are.
