Being veggies we not only have to check that each company we give our hard earned money to is not supporting MAGA, Israel, involved in Epstein, using AI but also not testing on animals. It's exhausting. But it's the only real power and choice available.

We are just opting out, act by tiny act. We got solar panels to limit the money we pay to big corps for energy. Bought mp3 players, dug out our old CDs and cancelled Spotify. Limited eating out and never with big chains. Checking parent company credentials before buying clothes and skincare 1/2

It's fine. We fell out with our old neighbour (constant drunken late night music during lockdown that he refused to turn down) and i made sure all of our delivery platforms knew not to leave anything with him. Likewise if i answered the door and it was for him, I refused to take stuff in for him.

I also have some far less hip ones 😂 i did consider my phone, but i like to listen to audio books in bed and keep my phone out of the room at night (don't sleep well and don't want to doom scroll). We got mp3 players each and 512 gb SD cards. Want a record player too.

Such a good list. Seems the only answer is not to buy anything at all. Trying to find anything these days, even frigging toothpaste, that isn't, or its parent company isn't, pro-Trump, Israel, tests on animals or isn't owned by capitalist dickheads is actually impossible.
