Science communication tramp. I’ve been an informal science educator and vaccine advocate long enough to know that anti-science is not partisan. People show us who they are by who they choose to represent them.
I swear, this is exactly what went through my mind, not 2 hours ago.
Republicans and Rightwing media mouthpieces always try to reduce the academic accomplishments of Democrats -especially if they’re not White- while ignoring the trailer trash that are prevalent in their own party.
Things for which I’m grateful:
We drive a hybrid.
Neither of us have to be at a job several days a week.
We’re too old to be drafted.

7 weeks ago, the cash price per gallon for regular gas, at our town’s Shell station was $3.89.
6 weeks ago, it was $3.99, then $4.29 a week later.
The Thursday before he ordered the attack on Iran, it suddenly spiked to $4.59, and was $4.69 yesterday.

I worked with a younger adult volunteer at my science center who who exhibited obvious cognitive impairment.
