I managed to get my hands on a small amount of cold stored APS film, and a (half) working Nikon Pronea 600i!
the default wide 16:9 format is great
thank you very much!

lomochrome purple, in my nikon f80, its always fun to see how it shifts the colors
1.2! Always wanted to try an ultra fast lens, and nice telephotos, Iβm still trying to get a nice one within my budget
the Bessa is absolutely one Iβd love too, itβs digital form, the Epson RD-1 alsoβ¦

Does anyone have a "dream" film camera they've always wanted?
Even if its price isn't so out there
For me, its the Pentax 645 Nii, I'd love to use one, hell, I'd love to use just a normal Pentax 645, I tried one out years ago and it's left a hole in my heart...
I'm eyeing off a 70-300 Nikon AF-S VR lens... I tend to like telephoto more, but the darker aperture and low ISOs of what I shoot, maybe the VR version will be the way to go

restored a moldy, stuck diaphragm Nikon 135mm 2.8 Series E lens to almost fully clean condition, and now the aperture works too!
It had nearly no contrast when there was mold all over itβ¦.

Hi everyone, just wanted to know, has anyone used VR/IS (image stabilization) lenses on the film cameras that support it? Iβm wondering if it makes more of a difference on film vs digital
(eyeing off a super telephoto zoom with image stabilization for a film cameraβ¦)
Iβm about to gamble on some expired APS film I have in the fridge myselfβ¦

The Lomography Experimental Lens kit has been out of production for years... I decided to pair my old copy with an infrared camera I also had years ago!

advantix, nexia, futura, endeavor, pronea, nuvis, vectis, names of the hopeful future envisioned with the APS film system, all of the names evoke an idea in your head of some far away place, where everything is high tech!

Had just about an hour of free time to try out a half broken Canon D30, their first DSLR, the rendition is, very teal!

the sony mavica fd75 to me seems to be the best model, its 640x480, without the annoying downsides of the earlier models interlaced sensor...

i've been quite busy with work and such, not had much time for photography, but spring has sprung! so here is some sigma sd10 foveon shots on a walk to do errands today...
i'm working on a project involving some 1980s electronic stills cameras, stay tuned ποΈ

the fd91 from 1999, boasting a huge 37-518mm, an EVF, optical image stabilization, a blazing fast x2 floppy drive, manual control, f1.8-2.8, its a true followup to the ProMavica line that used video floppys in the late 80s and early 90s, fun!

i've been practicing stitched panoramas with the mavica fd7
Very good scan! It seems you have eeked out the best qualityβ¦
#photography #digicam #mavica
the sony mavica fd7, a true classic... and some people find it amusing that it uses floppy disks
itβs more popular now to appear on camera vs the old daysβ¦ i hope a faceless video maker is still a thing π₯΄

has anyone figured out a way to properly scan instant film? I do have little holders to (poorly) prevent newton rings on a flatbed, but really, the results arenβt good
Is copystand+cpl something to try?
I've written text reviews, but there is a part of me that wants to make a youtube channel, and fill the niche of reviewing pre-2000s digital cameras
